Inadequate Nurse staffing and increasing workloads are putting patients at risk.  There is a growing consensus, based on numerous research studies, the improved nurse-to-patient staffing ratios decrease costs and produce safer, shorter patient stays.   

This bill has been introduced in the Illinois Legislature to improve nurse-to-patient staffing ratios.
